About
Termessos or Termessos Major is one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Türkiye. It is located 30 kilometers northwest of Antalya, on the road to Korkuteli. It was built on a natural platform southwest of Güllük Dağı at an average altitude of 1,150 meters above sea level. Hidden among a multitude of wild plants and bounded by dense pine forests, Termessos has a distinct and impressive atmosphere compared to other ancient cities, thanks to its serene and untouched appearance. Due to its natural and historical riches, the city has been incorporated into a national park bearing its own name.
