About the Event
When writing sheds its meaning, what remains? Artist Münire Yıldız invites art lovers to contemplate this question together in her Asemic Writing Exhibition titled “Anlamın Kıyısında” (On the Edge of Meaning). Lines written not to be read, but to be looked at, bring forward the rhythm of letters, the flow of ink, and the gesture of handwriting as a language of its own.
Asemic writing is a realm of expression that preserves the visual form of writing without bearing a specific meaning. In each piece, reading is constructed by the viewer; meaning meets the viewer at the edge of the page.
The exhibition can be visited at Orkun Ozan Sanat Galerisi between 15–25 October 2026. All art enthusiasts are invited to the opening cocktail on Thursday, October 15, between 17:30 and 18:30. Admission is free.
