About the Event
The rhythm of jazz resonates once again in the timeless nature of Kaş.
Kaş, one of the most enchanting destinations in the Mediterranean, is preparing to host the refined sounds of jazz once again this summer. In its 8th year, Kaş Jazz Festival meets music enthusiasts in the unique atmosphere of Setur Marina between August 28–30, with the contributions of MarineERA.
Spanning three days, the festival presents a packed schedule filled with talks, workshops, surprise events, DJ performances, and concerts by local and international artists. Setting out this year with the motto “Roots and Migrations”, the festival goes beyond music to focus on our bond with nature. Sunrise breathwork and mindfulness sessions, sunset DJ sets, and rhythms carrying on through the night promise participants a timeless getaway far from the city.
The first announced program of the festival draws attention with a powerful lineup spread across three days. 166 Days, the multi-layered project of Anıl Şallıel, one of the productive figures of the Türkiye jazz scene; Julia Biel, the elegant and profound voice of modern jazz; Şenay Lambaoğlu with her powerful interpretation; Jembaa Groove, bringing together afro-funk and soul influences with energetic performances; and Feride Hakim Quintet are among the first announced artists of the festival.
Michel Godard Trio, standing out with their interdisciplinary approach, is gearing up to be one of this year's most captivating performances. Composed of Michel Godard (serpent/bass), Ihab Radwan (oud/vocals), and Derya Türkan, the trio will blend the musical heritage of distinct geographies in a unique language. Homeland, one of the formidable representatives of contemporary jazz on the local scene with a lineup featuring Tuluğ Tırpan, Serkan Çağrı, Mehmet Akatay, and Mehmet Özen, will be among the festival's highlights with the musical bridge it builds between East and West.
Expanding its program and enriching experience areas with each passing year, Kaş Jazz Festival is ready to offer its participants not just a festival, but a holistic experience thanks to the strong bond it establishes between music and nature. Early-bird tickets and new artist announcements will be unveiled very soon.
