Herkes Kocama Benziyor

Acclaimed in every city where it has been staged and winner of 2 major awards, “Herkes Kocama Benziyor” meets the Antalya audience in its 4th season with the magnificent performance of Pınar Güntürkün.

“No, I've felt a bit relieved since that night, but it feels like things haven't completely cooled down inside yet. I don't get it, my anger was just sitting inside me like a ball of fire. It cooled down a bit. But now and then I still feel awful. Something's been stuck with me ever since that night. My mind won't stop, it works non-stop. My head, my brain is always wide awake. 'Hush now and then, girl,' I say. I don't know, I guess if I'm a woman, the inside of my head must be a woman too, so that's why I say it. A woman with eyes wide open like a hawk.”

Ayten, working as a restroom attendant at a pavyon, tells her story one by one from her post: how she “fell” into this place, the husband who abandoned her, her grief, her hopes, the friends she loves working with at the club, but most of all, her anger… When that anger—which she couldn't define in the past and only pieced together over time—shatters one day like the frosted glass of the restroom, nothing is ever the same again.
