Fazıl Say Jazz Quintet

World-renowned pianist and composer Fazıl Say is embarking on a Türkiye tour this summer with his new jazz-focused project, “Say Plays Jazz on Tour with Škoda”. Organized by Pozitif Müzik, the tour will meet music lovers across 7 cities with 10 concerts, turning into a special project where Škoda accompanies a journey that blends Fazıl Say’s unique classical music expression with the improvisational spirit of jazz. This project comes to life on stage with the Fazıl Say Jazz Quintet. Led by Fazıl Say, the Fazıl Say Jazz Quintet goes beyond the traditional concert format to offer an immersive stage experience that progresses in a seamless flow. A new piece composed specifically by Fazıl Say for the jazz quintet will also be premiered for the audience. The project’s repertoire carries not only musical but also intellectual depth. The cultural bridge built between East and West opens up space for awareness around today’s global crises, social issues, nature, and life. Shaped by the universal language of music, this narrative invites the listener on both an aesthetic and emotional journey. “Say Plays Jazz on Tour with Škoda” offers a timeless and holistic experience that brings summer evenings together with the unifying power of music.
