World Teas and Turkish Tea Brewing Workshop - November

Workshops will take place every day of the week at 10:00, 13:00, 17:00, 18:00, and 19:00.

Create your own design with colorful yarns, and turn your ideas into a textured piece of art!

You are invited to a creative experience where you will explore the tufting technique in our studio near Galata Tower. After choosing your colors and pattern, you will tuft acrylic yarn onto fabric stretched over a frame using a tufting gun under the guidance of an instructor.

As your work progresses, you will see lines and color blocks transform into a small rug or decorative textile piece. The final look of your design will be shaped with a shearing (trimming) process. No prior tufting or crafting experience is required to join.

What will you do in the workshop?

You will plan your pattern and choose your yarn colors.

You will get to know the tufting gun and basic working techniques.

With the instructor's support, you will work your pattern onto the fabric.

You will create a personalized textile piece with colors and textures.

You will complete the look of your piece with the included surface shearing process.

Who can participate?

Local and international individual participants, couples, groups of friends, corporate events, and agency groups; anyone interested in modern art and design.

Each participant creates a small rug or decorative textile piece. Product dimensions and applicable designs must be confirmed prior to booking.

Backing finishing, wool or viscose yarn options, 3D carving, and shipping services are available for an extra fee.

The general participation age is 7 and up. Younger children participate in age-appropriate steps with parental and instructor guidance. Machine operation takes place under instructor supervision; young children do not use the tufting gun independently.

All equipment and materials used in the workshop are provided by the studio.

The patterns to be worked on are shared with participants before the workshop.

Participants must select their pattern before the workshop begins.

Packaging & Delivery
At the end of the workshop, the completed tufting pieces are securely packaged and handed over for safe transport.
