About the Event
Bu Hikaye Senden Uzun Osman
Aylin Balboa’s highly acclaimed work “Bu Hikaye Senden Uzun Osman” has been adapted for the stage. Directed by Salih Usta, with text consultancy by Sertaç Sayın and dramaturgy by Ozan Ömer Akgül, the play stars Şenay Gürler, one of our country's most esteemed actresses. The play tells the story of a woman who parts ways with her partner of many years. Following this breakup, our main character begins writing letters to Osman, eventually continuing to write without expecting any reply. These letters are no longer written for Osman, but for her own personal journey. Osman gradually gets replaced by our character’s own transformation, her journey, and her own story. The letters to Osman evolve into letters written to herself—documents capturing an X-ray of the turning points in her life.
