About the Event
Chamber Music Experience in the Dark The Blind Symphony project, after captivating stages across Europe and the USA with impressive success, now meets audiences in Antalya for the first time. In this extraordinary concert format, the visual world is completely eliminated. Before the concert begins, every member of the audience is given a special mask that completely blocks out light, immersing the hall in absolute darkness. When visual perception is switched off, attention focuses entirely on sound. The finest nuances of the music, its subtlest vibrations, and internal rhythms begin to be felt more clearly. Even familiar pieces take on a new, deeper, and more powerful dimension under these conditions. The music is performed by a chamber music ensemble and enriched with rare instruments of indigenous peoples collected from different parts of the world. Throughout the concert, more than 70 distinct sounds and timbres will be heard—many of which you will likely experience for the very first time. The program features works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Arvo Pärt, Philip Glass, Max Richter, and Ludovico Einaudi. Blind Symphony is not just a concert—it is an opportunity to experience music in all its depth, free from visual distractions. When the light fades away, music becomes the only reality.
