Antalya Sandland – Sand Sculpture Museum
SANDLAND is an impressive open-air museum located on Antalya's world-famous Lara Beach, showcasing hundreds of giant sand sculptures. Held since 2006, this special event is among the largest and most prestigious sand sculpture organizations in the world.
Spread over an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, the artworks are crafted by international artists using 10,000 tons of river sand. Created using only sand and water, these colossal sculptures offer visitors both a breathtaking visual feast and an extraordinary artistic experience.
This Year's Theme: Space Adventure and Time Travel
In 2026, Sandland invites visitors to a unique journey of discovery under the theme "Space Adventure and Time Travel". Humanity's journey into space comes to life in sand through numerous significant figures and concepts, including Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Laika, Yuri Gagarin, Neil Armstrong, Mars colonies, planets, and future space technologies.
The exhibition also features works inspired by unforgettable sci-fi productions such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, Wall-E, and more. Sandland thus offers an engaging experience catering to visitors of all ages, appealing to both space enthusiasts and art lovers.
A Delightful Experience for All Ages
Sandland is not just an exhibition space, but also a fun and educational discovery center. Thanks to sections designed especially for children, teens, and adults, visitors both learn and enjoy their time.
With their admission ticket, visitors have the advantage of visiting the museum twice on the same day. The sculptures seen under natural daylight take on a completely different atmosphere in the evening with special LED illumination. Thus, a single ticket allows you to enjoy two distinct experiences.
The Sand Sculpture Museum is open daily between 09:00 and 22:00.
Free Telescope Observation
One of Sandland's most remarkable experiences is the free astronomical observation. Thanks to the powerful telescopes at the museum, visitors have the chance to closely observe the Moon's craters, Saturn's rings, and Jupiter.
