About the Event

Antalya Sandland – Sand Sculpture Museum

SANDLAND is an impressive open-air museum located on Antalya's world-famous Lara Beach, displaying hundreds of giant sand sculptures. Held since 2006, this special event is recognized among the largest and most prestigious sand sculpture events in the world.

Spanning an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, the sculptures are crafted using 10,000 tons of river sand, shaped by international artists. Created solely with sand and water, these colossal statues offer visitors both a breathtaking visual feast and an extraordinary artistic experience.

This Year's Theme: Space Adventure and Time Travel

In 2026, Sandland invites visitors on a unique journey of discovery with the theme "Space Adventure and Time Travel." Humanity's quest into space comes to life in the sand through key figures and concepts such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Laika, Yuri Gagarin, Neil Armstrong, Mars colonies, planets, and futuristic space technologies.

The exhibition also features sculptures inspired by iconic sci-fi masterpieces such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, and Wall-E. Thus, Sandland provides an engaging experience for visitors of all ages, appealing to space enthusiasts and art lovers alike.

A Delightful Experience for All Ages

Sandland is not merely an exhibition ground; it is also a fun and educational discovery hub. With sections specially curated for kids, teenagers, and adults, guests both learn and have a wonderful time.

With their entrance tickets, visitors enjoy the advantage of touring the museum twice on the same day. While the sculptures can be admired under natural sunlight by day, they take on an entirely different atmosphere in the evening with special LED illumination. This allows you to enjoy two distinct experiences with a single ticket.

The Sand Sculpture Museum is open daily from 09:00 to 22:00.

Free Telescope Observation

One of the most remarkable experiences at Sandland is the free astronomical observation. Thanks to the powerful telescopes available at the museum, visitors have the chance to observe the craters of the Moon, the rings of Saturn, and Jupiter up close. This experience creates unforgettable memories, especially for children and families.

Astro Cafe, Astro Shop, and Astro Photo

After their tour, visitors can unwind and recharge at the Astro Cafe with hot and cold drinks as well as a variety of snacks.

At the Astro Shop, space-themed souvenirs, astronaut costumes, helmets, mugs, decorative lighting, toys, books, and collectibles await guests.

Thanks to the Astro Photo service, visitors can capture lasting memories of their Sandland experience through special pictures taken by a professional team.

Bringing together art, science, entertainment, and discovery, Sandland – Sand Sculpture Museum is an unforgettable must-see experience during your visit to Antalya.
