About the Event

Antalya Sandland – Sand Sculpture Museum

SANDLAND is an impressive open-air museum located on Antalya’s world-famous Lara Beach, showcasing hundreds of giant sand sculptures. Held since 2006, this special event is among the largest and most prestigious sand sculpture organizations in the world.

Spread over an area of approximately 7,000 square meters, the artworks are shaped by international artists using 10,000 tons of river sand. Created using only sand and water, these colossal sculptures offer visitors both an impressive visual feast and an extraordinary art experience.

This Year's Theme: Space Adventure and Time Travel

In 2026, Sandland invites visitors to a unique exploration with the theme "Space Adventure and Time Travel". Humanity's journey into space comes to life once again in sand through many significant figures and concepts, such as Leonardo Da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Laika, Yuri Gagarin, Neil Armstrong, Mars colonies, planets, and futuristic space technologies.

The exhibition also features works inspired by unforgettable sci-fi productions such as Star Wars, Star Trek, Avatar, Wall-E, and more. Sandland thus offers an impressive experience appealing to all ages, for space enthusiasts and art lovers alike.

A Delightful Experience for All Ages

Sandland is not just an exhibition area, but also a fun and educational discovery center. Thanks to sections specially designed for children, young people, and adults, visitors both learn and have an enjoyable time.

Visitors have the advantage of visiting the museum twice on the same day with a single admission ticket. The sculptures viewed under natural daylight take on a completely different atmosphere in the evening with special LED illuminations. Thus, two distinct experiences can be enjoyed with a single ticket.

The Sand Sculpture Museum is open to visitors every day between 09:00 and 22:00.

Free Telescope Observation

One of the most remarkable experiences at Sandland is the free astronomical observations. Thanks to the powerful telescopes within the museum, visitors have the opportunity to observe the Moon’s craters, Saturn’s rings, and Jupiter up close. This experience creates unforgettable memories, especially for children and families.

Astro Cafe, Astro Shop, and Astro Photo

After their tour, visitors can unwind at Astro Cafe with hot and cold drinks as well as various snacks, relaxing after their day of exploring.

In the Astro Shop section, space-themed souvenirs, astronaut costumes, helmets, mugs, decorative lights, toys, books, and collectibles await visitors.

With the Astro Photo service, visitors can turn their Sandland experience into a lasting keepsake with special photographs taken by a professional team.

Bringing together art, science, entertainment, and discovery, Sandland – Sand Sculpture Museum is one of the unique experiences you must see during your visit to Antalya.
