Fire of Anatolia continues to burn!

The core concept of Fire of Anatolia is the meeting of civilizations. It is a dance portrait aiming to bring together Eastern and Western cultures, delivering messages of universal peace. Synthesizing folk dances with ballet, modern dance, and other dance disciplines, it presents the world with a show of modern standards, a cultural feast. Drawing its source from Anatolia's thousands of years of mythological and cultural history, Fire of Anatolia is an authentic project containing 3,000 folk dance figures and folk music compiled from almost every region. Bearing the signature of Mustafa Erdoğan, the project aims to introduce the world to the fire of Anatolia's millennial mosaic of culture and history blended with peace.

Taking the first step in 1999 to realize a dream dating back many years, Mustafa Erdoğan launched the intensive work on the project, formerly known as Sultans of the Dance. First, advertisements seeking dancers were published in newspapers. Out of 750 candidates, 90 young people were selected, and a challenging period of work lasting one and a half years began. Rehearsals lasting 8, sometimes 16 hours a day... Costumes were prepared, music was completed. Aesthetic exercises, dietitians, and massage therapists were engaged. Stretching and yoga were practiced. The work focused on folk dance steps, ballet, and modern dance. Dancers took theoretical courses on the notation of Anatolian rhythms.

And on May 3, 2001, for the show planned to take the stage for 3-4 performances and then be staged abroad, it was decided to extend its schedule in Türkiye because tickets had sold out months in advance. Embarking on a world tour in 2002, Fire of Anatolia has been watched by over 50 million art lovers through more than 8,500 shows in 109 countries (with multiple visits to many countries). Regarded among the world's prominent dance troupes through international tours and promotional efforts to date, Fire of Anatolia is the most magnificent project reaching universal acclaim with the strength of our national culture. Performing at major national events such as Eurovision 2004 and Universiade 2005, the ensemble was watched with great interest by the world press. The troupe has performed at some of the world's most significant venues, such as Madison Square Garden in New York and Chicago Theater in Chicago (USA), Bercy in France, the Great Hall of the People in China, the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, and in front of the historical Muhammad Ali Mosque and the Pyramids in Egypt, receiving standing ovations from world leaders including presidents, prime ministers, and kings.

Since 2001, Fire of Anatolia has performed and introduced Anatolian culture to the whole world in Israel, Germany, China, Netherlands, Belgium, Switzerland, T.R.N.C., Japan, Austria, Qatar, Lebanon, Russia, Azerbaijan, Jordan, Siberia, Romania, Bulgaria, Egypt, France, America, Hungary, Sarajevo, Bahrain, Malaysia, Greece, Georgia, Macedonia, Serbia, Croatia, Dubai, Slovenia, Poland, Belarus, Latvia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Crimea, New Zealand, Tunisia, Italy, Slovakia, Albania, Palestine, Spain, Portugal, Syria, England, and Martinique Island-Caribbean.
